Sigh.....
Sleep came, to a point, and only for certain value of sleep. Dreams, perhaps driven by a late dinner, came in crushing waves almost as I shut my eyes. Past loves, present regrets, and hardened nuggets of self judgment combined to lift me from sleep and deposit me here in this chair, in front of this glowing screen for a time. Maybe Morpheus will come and take me to visit his sweet river as I wait the sunrise.....
